Batman Movie Poster 1966 British Quad Stafford&Co Chantrel Original Vintage

Original British Quad Batman Cinema Poster 1966 Stafford&Co Ltd England 30x40. Poster was framed and matted originally. I removed it from frame to document it's condition, and discovered The poster was secured to the back matt with aggressive white tape. The tape was removed by aid of heat gun but sticky residue remains on backside of the outer edge of poster paper on all 4 sides. I have the poster laying on wax paper, so the tape residue will not damage the poster if it is sent to restoration.

There is fading of colour from left to right on the poster where it must have hung near a window. The fade is extreme starting on the left side and going across about 1/3 of the way. The Riddler's costume is gray and the Jokers Red outfit is faded, and the yellow background graphics are faded. Riddler outfit should be green.

In the center third of the poster Batman's cape is an intense blue, Bat Boy's vest is a faded orange but his shorts and boots are gray not green. The yellow background graphics are brighter. The last 1/3 of poster has good colour except for the R in Colour which should be green and is now brownish. Please observe the photo's carefully, as I have diligently photographed these issues.

Does not appear to have been folded. Two 1/8 tears on upper right edge of. Hand written identification on back side of poster reads: British Quad Poster. This size produced only in England for movie posters.
